"Zeig Dich" (Show yourself). The BMW R18 has enormous untapped potential - and we decided to push it far beyond its cruiser roots by transforming it into a true performance café racer. The massive 1800cc boxer engine was bored out to an astonishing 2350cc, unlocking a completely new level of torque and presence. To sharpen handling and proportions, the wheelbase was reduced from 68 inches to 61 inches, closely matching the 60-inch wheelbase of BMW’s official R20 prototype. The triple trees were reworked with a –3° rake, resulting in a far more aggressive front-end geometry and quicker response. Rolling stock is equally uncompromising: 240 rear and 160 front tires, paired with 330 mm performance brake rotors from Rick’s Motorcycles, clamped by Brembo calipers for serious stopping power. Up front, Öhlins forks sourced from the BMW R nineT family provide precision and feedback, while a high-performance rear shock from JRi Shocks keeps everything planted under hard acceleration. Completing the build is a Kesstech exhaust system with an adjustable valve, delivering a deep, thunderous boxer sound when opened - yet remaining refined and controlled when closed. “Zeig Dich” isn’t just a custom BMW R18. It’s a statement: bold engineering, aggressive geometry, and performance-driven design-showing exactly what this platform is capable of when limits are removed.
